UNITED Petroleum Company’s roots were firmly planted in 1983, when founder, Consul Joseph B. Tayeh, launched the company to be part of the downstream petroleum sector in Lebanon as an oil product supplier to deliver premium quality and service to customers.
A distribution and retail arm, UNITED Petroleum Company serves as a wholesale distributor, retailer, and marketer of petroleum-based fuels and products.
To complete the downstream value chain within the local markets and ensure the security of supply, Universal Gas “the tank farm” was acquired in 1984.
